I get this whirling/humming sound in my cab at around 50-60 mph when I'm excellerating normally or easily. It stops as soon as I let off the gas or get over 60-65 mph. Doesn't make the sound when I am excellerating fast to get on a freeway. It kinda sounds like tire noise. I have rolled down my windows but can't really hear anything from the outside. Makes me think it is coming from engine compartment or directly underneath the cab, or maybe front end. Maybe it's just soemthing vibrating somewhere. Anyone experienced this?
Also, sometimes when I come to a stop light, my truck will slightly lurch, and I think I got rearended by someone going about 1mph. I'm guessing that maybe the tranny is dropping from 2nd to first when I'm stopped, or maybe it has something to do with all 8 cylinders kicking in when I come to a complete stop. Anyone experience this? Thanks!
