Default 06 Ram 3500 Clutch hanging up

Today I experienced a really wierd problem. Drove truck for 1 hour on Fwy then parked it. It sat for a couple hours. Went out to drive home and the clutch was dragging so badly I could barely shift. It was like it was not completely releasing. I had to shut it off at stop lights to put it in 2nd to start out. Then after 5 minutes it now shifts fine. I figured the hydraulic clutch was low on fluid but the manual says it is not servicable and when I looked in the resevoir it appeared full. Called dealer and they said never heard of the problem and probably wouldn't do any good to bring it in unless it was malfunctioning at the time. Anyone experienced anything similar? Is it true as the manual says, the clutch hydraulics are not servicable and must be replaced as a unit?. Truck is an 06 CTD with a 6 speed manual tranny and about 50,000 miles on it.

First, welcome to the forumz from Maine. I think your dealer if full of $hit. Any hydraulic clutch can fail. I've heard of the master cylinder failing on the Viper trucks. Don't know if Rock Auto might have a replacement, but I'd try them first, they may have a warrantee also.
