So I attempted to install LED's in the interior tonight and had no success. They came on for a split second then went out. Reversed polarity but this made no difference. Pulled them out and reinstalled the original bulbs and now they don't work unless I pull the console down and apply just the right amount of pressure to the back of the switch while pressing in on the lens cover. Even then they don't work as switched lights, they just come on and go off if I move slightly.
They don't work with the dimmer switch either.
The odd thing is that when I do get the connection just right, with the original bulbs in, they seem brighter than they did originally... almost white as opposed to the yellow that they were.
I also installed a Recon 3'rd brake light and am having the same problem that others are having with the cargo light staying on but I understand that's a resistor issue even thought this one came with an attached external resistor.
Gotta love this Amazon aftermarket shhhtuff.
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. :4-dontknow:
