I have a 08 1500 hemi 4x4 and the plan is to get some 24's and then get a lowering kit. I dont want it on bags or anything like that jus something to give it a sporty look, like a 2/4. The problem is that most lowering kits only work on 2 wheel drive models i think, does anyone know a good kit that would work for a 4x4?
it does make sense to lower a 4x4 cause use will lose some functionality, main ground clearance. if you are goin to do air bags so if you need to you can raise it back up
Ya i know what you mean but i live in south florida and dont do any offroading, it stays strictly on pavement, and i am going for the sporty show truck look so i only wanted to increase the appearance not drop it on the ground or anything? whats your thoughts?
lower it your goin to want to take tire and rim sizes that you want to go too. one thing i did to make my truck more of a show truck was putting a light in the grill and under the dash. when doing a show truck you wan to focus on the outside just as much as the inside...hit me if you need anything
Ya my plan was to do 24s with a 2/4 drop and find out what the biggest size tire i could get so it didnt rub to get the most decent ride i can, i just didnt know if anyone recomended a kit for the 4x4 ,
stay with factory tire size i believe is 31'' cause if you go smallier you could have problems with ur gauges you do if you go bigger to but i havent seen that yet. you dont want to go to wide because you will get rub thats where most rubin occurs. i dont kno of any lowering kits
