Anyone know what the difference is between the three listed on the K&N site for the 2012 ram hemi? I know the HP difference, but WHY is there a difference?
I take it one of them is plastic and the other is metal as stated above and one probably has an oiled filter.
Personally I would not get the metal tube do to it being more prone to heat soaking (even though it wont make that big of a difference) and I like a dry filter more than an oiled one. I was reading somewhere that they provide les air restricting. just my .02
not sure but i do know that just there regular intake with the black plastic tube ( not the blackhawk ) is the highest rated one... honestly i would have to look up the differences. not to sure.... but the k&n intakes do give you a KNARLEY sound under the hood
