One of many reasons i have purchased this tuner for my 2013 Ram was for the ability to turn off 100% the traction control to have some fun with it. Now when i disable it the traction control still engages.
Am i doing something wrong with the tuner? Ive also tried using the highbeams on and fog lights on at the same time and that also doesnt work.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Make sure when you do it the truck is off and not running. That's how I disabled mine along with my daytime running lights. Not sure if I had the ignition ff when I did these changes or not but I know it wasn't running.
Okay. Now just to make 100% sure when it has the Enable or Disable option, i want to choose Disable right? It isnt a trick question? Haha
--I have gotten to option to have my high beams on and my fog lights on at the same time too work now.
Also what rpm's should i set the shift points too?
Yeah ive tried everything that i can think of. I just cant seem to completely disable it which will just force me to hook up a led switch to the wire that controls the signal.
Traction control is off but Stability control is still on. Either get a DS tuner to turn off Stability control for one key cycle or pull the ABS motor fuse. Stability control and ABS are linked so when SC is off so is ABS. For track use only!! Warning your dash will stay lit like a Xmas tree until it is re-enabled.
