thanks!since the young bucks wanna call out a former world champ,i figure why not throw them off lol?they'd never expect all that bass from a reg cab truck.....until i pop the tonneau!with the power i'm running and a few other tricks,i should be around 155 decibels with doors closed and windows up.they don't know i've been doing this longer than some of them have been around!!
thanks all.on the audio side, she's 80% done.i'll have some more pics up tomorrow or thursday.what a pain trying to put in,hold and screw down an 85lb subwoofer by yourself!to hold the weight, where the speakers mount it's tripple faced and i used big blue cement screws.
she's almost ready to fire up!just waiting for the rest of my 1/0 welding cable to come in so i can run the 8 runs from the front batteries to the copper distribution blocks you see in the last pics that then goes to the last eight batteries.it's gonna get loud in here!we think louder than the 155 decibels predicted before.
finally truck is back from paint.now i can finish up the audio.here's a sneak peek before buffing.id' like to find another driver so i can bring her down to all chrysler nats.my neighbor is a great older lady(she's in her 80's)she says it looks real nice;it looks like a big bottle of white out lol!(white paint, all clear taillights, clear 3rd brakelight, clear head and corner lights)
And here I was thinking I was the only one running DC Audio on the forum. Gotta love Rusty and the crew over there @ DC!
You sure are gonna be hammering with those lvl 5s, I would think you could easily do your 155 sealed up. Im waiting to get my new DC 5K in for my M2 Xls
