I've had my '14 Crew Cab 4x4 for three months now, and have driven about 3500 miles. It seems to get about 17 mpg at 80 miles per hour. To get the 23 advertised on the sticker, you'll need to stay at 65 or so. The odometer says I've gotten 18.6 overall since the truck was new in mixed driving. That's higher by about .4 than my actual calculations at the pump. On the best tank so far, hand-calculated mpg was 19.6. I'm hoping my mileage will improve when the weather gets warmer and the engine is more run in.

I have no regrets about the buying the Pentastar at all. I don't tow a horse trailer or haul heavy loads, so it made the most sense. I have moved furniture and such and chauffeured four full-grown passengers on a road trip. The truck handled both fine. The transmission is very good at squeezing acceleration out of the motor when you need it. The Pentastar even has a surprisingly good, throaty sound when you step on it. I've used 4WD half a dozen times (darn snow!), and the drivetrain performs well in that mode, too. I would not change a thing.

Close to 1,000 miles now and my average is 18.8 mpg. Now that the weather is warming up a bit I see 20-23 anywhere between 70-75 mph. the sweet spot seems to be 72 with the cruise set. I also am very pleased. Its nice to finally have a vehicle that gets the mpg they advertise. We are still on winter gas and the engine isn't even broken in yet so it should improve. Mine is a 4x4 crew cab short bed with 3.55 gears

So glad I got the Pentastar v6 8 speed 4x4 regular cab, I had mine for 2 weeks now still on the first tank of gas, the EVIC is showing 24.1 mpg, it's getting better each day. And the power is way better than my old 03 1500 5.9L quad cab long bed, no regrets here.

Wow I am so glad to hear of the good things on the 3.6. I think it is very peppy and have been impresed with everything. I hooked it up to by sons cargo trailer that is about 5000 lbs. and just kinda messed around and it did as good as my 07 f150 did if not better. If this proves to be as good as it seems I just made money. I get 18 mpg driving to work. Thats better than the f150s 14.0
