I think there was a thread similar to this in the 2012 section & now that the stock on the lot of those is starting to dwindle, maybe a 13 section will be useful. Particularly with the changes that have come in this model year.
Personally am going to wait a little longer, but did stop by a local dealer just in case there was a small fire sale for end of month & year. Didn't happen. The guys were in a rush, quoted the wrong truck msrp while trying to convince me they were quoting 2012 pricing for a 13. More so just a rush sort of thing that didn't work, but am sure there will better deals to come within the year.
I got mine last month. Sticker was $44k I got it for $32,600. skid plates, 8.4n, bedliner, 4x4 bighorn slt. I was happy with the deal. I wanted the 8 speed and that's the one thing I didn't get. Not sure it would have made much of a difference since I don't tow anything.
2014 Ram 1500 Tradesman Quad Cab 2WD, with the 3.6 V6, 8 speed auto, plus a few options. MSRP $32600...price paid before taxes and dealer doc. fee $26,500. This included a $1000 rebate that I think everyone qualifies for plus an additional $500 rebate. Was told by the sales manager that I paid $1000 below employee pricing , after the $1000 rebate was figured in. While only $6100 off you have to remember that it wasn't a very expensive truck to begin with (MSRP $32600) and it comes to a discount of 19%, which to me is the more important number than how many dollars you got off. Paying a little more for a 2014 was worth it for me.
I finished #1 in my Company last year and they told me to pick out any vehicle I wanted...2013 Quad Cab Hemi.....FREE! *plus an unlimited supply of tires for it as needed.
I bought my 2013 1500 Ram Express Quad Cab 4x4 with 4" Mopar lift, 20 inch Ultra wheels, Hankook Dynapro 35s and step rails for 35,000. I calculated all the extra parts online and figured with installation I would have paid about 6,500 for all the extras. So for the truck itself I figured I paid about 28,500.
MSRP $45,555.00, Drove off dealer lot with my 13 Ram 1500 BigHorn for $35055.00. A few incentives helped make my decision. Also got a set of all weather floor mats thrown in to help keep it clean since winter is right around the corner.
i just bought my 2013 SLT Lonestar Edition (TEXAS) original sticker was 42000 it was a demo with 3000 miles I ended up paying 26800 plus TTL with a lifetime powertrain warranty deal that the dealership had going on
13K off sticker, 5500 from my trade in and a "thanks for being an awesome IT guy" discount plus some incentives on my 13 Laramie. Plus they shipped in the EXACT truck I wanted.
Hey new to the forum but have been reading for a while. Some of the deals you guys got are pretty good! Can't wait to do it next time and use all this new info.
Bought back in July/13
'13 crew cab sport 5'7 box bright white every option except air suspension.
My "sticker" with everything was 60,500. Came with dealer installed 2" pro comp level kit, ballistic 20" black rims and a set of duratrac 275/65/20 tires. Also got them to throw in the custom husky floor mats and a line x bed liner for no cost.
Got the going ram rebate plus a rebate for being a tradesman.
Final price for truck, with mopar black tubular running boards came to 51,000 before taxes. Ended up also getting extended bumper to bumper to 100,000 for a reduced price and protection package (which has almost paid off as I lost a key fob and they give one replacement per year no deductible...500 bucks almost).
Not as good as the deals I've seen reading here but I absolutely love the truck. Live And learn!
Bought my 2013 on Labor Day last year. Sticker 43,290, traded 2012 Silverado. Gave $6800 and $28K for Silverado, total $34,800. I think I got a great deal. Was on the lot about a week before I bought it. Built in July 2013.
Of course it was a month after we bought my wife's 2013 GR Cherokee TrailHawk with a Hemi and Air Suspension from the same dealer.
Bought my '13 Longhorn on Black Friday. Sticker was $52,700. Got it for $42,000 plus $20,000 for my trade. $22,000, not a bad deal for a new loaded truck.
