Lookin' at Octavio's blacked out 1500 Prompted me to show what I've done to my '95.
Look at my Mod's list for a quickie.
I've posted some comment's here and there about what I've done and now maybe my screen name makes sense. I'm not done yet and really want to add a roll bar wit a center mounted spare...any thoughts?

Nice work, love them old models, great looking truck. Purple halo's would be nice also. Love what you done, great work. More pics please oh ya, reps for them pics, thanks for sharing
Looks like they did a good job on your truck, very nice. I kind of miss the old flat black primer rig though Just not used to seeing your truck all shined up
Don't you just hate it when you take on a 'one of a kind' project like this only to discover that someone beat you to it. Gotta hand it to the owner of that Frankenstein though. It looks absolutely awesome! I bet yours would have been every bit as good.
In the voice of Johnny 5 from Short Circuit - Ohhh! I get it!
If figured since you had not posted information with the pics that hey were of a truck you just happened across. IMO, the Ram truck looks better then your previous van conversion......or maybe it's just the Black.

Nice to see you finally got it painted.
Did you (or your daughter) change your mind on the color and go with a tint of purple in the strips instead of in the primary color?
If the strips are her inspiration you can tell her she did good!
(Obligatory edit) (S)he is now deep pearl amethyst with lavender stripes (Purple on purple)
It's hard to see the color of the paint except in direct high intensity lights. Yes the Purple (Lavender) stripes and lettering were generated in the thoughts (and much whining) from Lilly.
It looks navy-blue with any cloud cover. Inner fenders and a few small things still have to go back on now. Since it now appears to be a female (transsexual truck) I don't know if they should be referred to as inner fender slips or skirts (?)
