Default anybody try the rough country combo and 35s on a '11 sport?

I've been thinking about what to do for awhile now. Since I don't do serious off roading I don't think I need to go high end really. I'm more of a fishing trails person and for looks.

I was planning on pick up the readylift kit until i started reading the death wobble issues. Soooo I figured I'd have to save up and get a suspension kit of one kind or another.

Came across this in a flyer at a local place http://www.roughcountry.com/suspensi...ram_combo.html

and was wondering if anybody had tried that and how they liked it.

BTW: Since it's not suspension I didn't think this fit in the suspension system, if I'm wrong though please move it

I have a Rough Country 4" suspension lift along with their 1.25" body lift on my truck and I've had no problems with either.

My only caution would be that if your truck came equipped with the factory front tow hooks you'll lose them with a body lift...

what about ride quality? Is it stock, near stock or completely different?

And how is the steering system? Is it OK at low speeds?

Ride quality seems the same as stock to me, same for the steering. Not sure why you'd be concerned with steering at low speeds? What would you expect to happen?

I asked because along with the 4" lift often comes larger tires and rims - These setups typically weigh more and have more ground contact putting additional strain on the power steering system.

I have the 2.5 front 1.75 rear lift with no body lift. No issues at all. Suspension is definately stiffer feel. Haven't upgraded tires as of yet but it looks great either way. I NEVER say ok to a body lift. Just leaves too much room for errors. Wiring harnesses, linkages, brake lines, ect.

This coming Wednesday I'm getting my adjustable bilsteins on and the 1.25 RCX body lift. I'll update once it's finished. I've got my 35x12.5 kumhos in the garage. Just waiting on my wheels.

Ive had the RCX 6" suspension lift on for 20k miles. No issues or complaints here. I also have 2 buddies with '11 CC Sport 4x4s going with the same lift this month.

The RCX kit rides identical to stock. The kit is very strong and well made. I use mine to offroad and beatup as well to hunt. Ive thrashed it pretty good, slamming the front end into ditches and and ruts and what have you. Its still holding up as it was new. Not to mention you get a Lifetime Warranty.

Compared to the rest of the 6" lifts it also gives the most ground clearance, both the crossmembers and the slidplate by a couple inches. If you want to add the Bilstiens it also provides the most lift when combined together.
