There are many different lifts out there. I looked at 3 different lifts in person prior to going with zone brand 6" lift. You have cheaper lifts and more expensive lifts in the end it's what you are happy with spending. I will not bash another brand lift but some things to look at is the shocks that come with the lifts and what height of lift you get and if you will have a rake (where the front is lower then the back by about 3"). You can always buy a cheaper brand lift and make it custom to your liking.

The new Rams do look sexy lifted though.

i'm looking into lifts as well. have a '11 slt 5.7 hemi, stock wheels/tires (for now). dont want anything drastic. been looking at the RC 2.5" front 1.75" rear strut spacers but read that by doing these kind of "lifts" can mess up the suspension up/down travel. so can you also do the bilstein 5100 adjustables w/ this RC kit? are there any other things that should/NEED to be installed with it? sorry for the thread hijack/newb questions. Thanks in advance!

The RCX kit rides identical to stock. The kit is very strong and well made. I use mine to offroad and beatup as well to hunt. Ive thrashed it pretty good, slamming the front end into ditches and and ruts and what have you. Its still holding up as it was new. Not to mention you get a Lifetime Warranty.

Compared to the rest of the 6" lifts it also gives the most ground clearance, both the crossmembers and the slidplate by a couple inches. If you want to add the Bilstiens it also provides the most lift when combined together.

whatd that do to your gas mileage?

He posted back a while ago that once he went with the 4.56s along with the 37s his gas milage was actually pretty awesome considering all the mods

This tank right now, I have about 1/4 of a tank left and my dash says 14.8mpg....not too shabby. My driving is prolly 70%city 30%hwy.

I have a buddy with an '11 and the same setup but with 37" Toyo Mts and the almighty 3.92s. He cant for the life of him break 10mpg haha
