I checked the power steering fluid level, it's between the min and max fill lines, clear amber fluid appearance. Also listened with the hood open while engine rpms up to 2000 rpm, no whine coming from the engine compartment. Also checked Trans fluid, level is normal, not dirty at all.
I guess I'll have a different dealer evaluate the noise at 3000 miles when I get my first oil change.
