I'll be 49 (for the first time) in a couple weeks

With a 3000 stall torque converter I can easily light em up at will with half throttle,
but I save that for the track on the weekends on dedicated Drag Radials.

My street tires cost twice as much and I use AWD to keep them from spinning when I launch it.

I'd rather have the guy beside me see my tail lights, not my tire smoke

Truckin' magazine just tested the Ram, F-150, Chev and the Titan (no Tundra available) and the Ram was the fastest of the three (yes the F-150 was an ecoboost) over the Furd by 3/10ths @ 14.8 for the 1/4 mile.

Power to the pavement.

Now I wish someone would change the title of this thread... I hate offensive knee jerk responses to problems without research... My .02

Agree! I have an old moapr and had a single leg diff in it with my tweaked 318....was able to spin the one tire when I wanted.....well, added a trutrac diff and now it hooks up so well, its very hard to break loose.....

Breaking loose your tires is not the only sign of power! Although admittedly it is fun to do it once in a while....... LOL

I'll chirp with the stock 20's rotate the 22's (smaller diameter with tire overall) before the TCS kicks on. It definitely takes a while to break in the system to get that power to the ground better. Can't wait until the Torque Converter shows up :-D

I love this truck, I didn't buy my truck to do burnouts, but with a 5.7L Hemi, I expect to be able to do them at my discretion, and boy can I! All stock everything, crew cab, 3:55 gears, 20's, trac off, and it lights up whenever i ask it to.

And while that is fun, I really love this truck in the mid range. Push you back in the seat acceleration on a 6k lb truck. Did i say already, I love this truck!

I have a 2013 Sport hemi 3.92 and it doesn't peel with traction control on or off just launches. With the traction control off on a ice over parking lot I can't do two full donuts without the traction control system kicking in even tho its off.

Yup, you will need to wait for a tuner, not much can be done till then.
