I'd say I have to agree with the gentleman. Not good?? How about stupid, idiotic, dumb, and a few other adjectives thrown in for good measure. Hey, you want to burn up tires and stress out your tranny or subject yourself to the same sort of unanticipated and potentially tragic results?? Have at it. Hell, even "crappy Goodyears" cost money.

Grumpy old fart leaves you with "nice burnout...what's it going to cost you"? Hope dad didn't buy you the truck.
I fear the man who can flip a truck doing a burnout lol And no, dad didn't by the truck. Hard work pays off

This discussion is just like any discussion about seatbelts, helmets, unprotected sex, overeating, smokingm, drinking...the list goes on.

Do what you want to do as long as it affects ONLY you and no one else has to pay the cost for your choice.

I like watching a great burnout now and then. I am too cheap to subject my vehicles to them......lol

LOL I love that video, it almost defies physics.

The best part is how he gets out and says "what happened??? did I pop a tire???" hahaha.

As long as you're safe and not endangering others, who cares, do what you want! Besides, we need to weed out the stupid ones, we have a surplus currently

I won't hardly turn over my new tires because I spent so much on them, but when they get bald I'll let them turn freely, that's what usually happens is I stop caring because they are so old and worn anyway, and I want new ones...

that moved to mexico to build ram trucks? I doubt it, most cdns still have jobs... anyways

remember its 390 hp on paper.. probably in the low 300's to the ground... paper to ground is a pretty big difference, theres alot of rotating mass in between...

There is a law against acceleration. It is called "exhibition of speed." Usually it involves racing another vehicle and carries a big ****ing fine along with the points that get tacked on your license.

So did the OP turn off traction control and melt some tires yet?

As long as you dont go over the speed limit or burn rubber you cant get a ticket from going 0-the speed limit fast

^ It can be considered reckless driving. It becomes the officer's judgement. Whether it'll stick I guess might depend on how much you want to fight. My brother got a ticket when he accelerated somewhat quickly(it was a stock 4 cylinder s10, and wasn't even floored). The cop gave him a ticket because he thought he was racing the other s10 next to us, but he wasn't. I assume this is basically along the same lines of "over accelerating".

Gonna be 52 and can't wait for a tuner to be available so I can bustem loose half throttle. My Goat would get sideways at 40mph easing into it in second gear, sweet!
