Question tire,s lift, so confused!! Help

ok on my '88 w100 4wd i have P235/75R15 but on the inside of the door it calls for 31in tires...soo in order to gain some height i want to go with bigger tires but i lack knowledge of this kinda thing. so looking around i found i got two options body and or suspension lift....would a 3in body lift give enough room for 33in tires???? or would i have to go with a more expensive suspension lift...also i measured the distance from the tire to the wheel well and the closest it get is about 4in....please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know that tire was what was stock on w150, it measure close to 29"
I think you would need atleast 2" to clear a 33 safely
Know I'm curious what kid of difference there is between a ram charger and w100 suspension and if the rough country 4" kit would fit

3 inches of body lift would make room for 33's with out rubbing.. but u can also do a 3 inch suspention lift for about 200 bucks and 33's will also fit under that.

I would definatly do the suspension lift over the body lift.

I have never done a body lift, but i hear they are a pain in the ass. the lifts for your truck are easy. ntwonline has a 4" one for $350. replacement leaves and blocks. looks as simple as it gets and clears 35's.

Thanks.
I have not heard of ntw yet... Looking into them now for a nice bunch of parts for my 2500.

Seems everyone has things for the 1500, and is never sure if it will fit the 2500... Such a pita! It will get up there though.

Thanks for the suggestion.
