Default De-Badging

I am going to de-badge my truck, it is the SLT package. It has the large rams head badge on the tailgate just below the handle, is there alignment holes for that badge? and is the tailgate embossed to recess the emblem?
Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure it has alignment holes. Here's a pic after I removed it on my 2012.

I removed everything from my SLT except the Ram head badge on the tailgate. I just couldn't picture what the tailgate would like like without anything in the recessed area and didn't feel like trying to line it up if I had to put it back on. Truck looks smooth debadged. Do it!

There is two alignment holes along with a larger center slot & the recess of course.

Now would be a good time to install the LED eyes on that ram emblem.
