Default Ate another import!

Yet another kill for Big Red. Coming home from work tonight I had some 4 door import stuck to my back bumper like I was towing it. This guy was tailgating so bad all I could see in the rear view mirror was the wind deflector of his moon roof. Being as it was rush hour and traffic was heavy I couldn't punch it and shake this guy. We finally clear the city and head out on the highway. This tool was still stuck to my bumper like glue, the guy in front of me (holding me up) takes an off ramp and I have open road in front of me. I'm in the right hand lane and in the left hand lane just a car length behind me is another car. Mr. tailgater does a nasty california lane change cutting off the dude in the left hand lane. I honestly thought the guy clipped the car as he cut in front. Seeing this go on in my mirror I punched it to get the hell out of the way. Mr. California lane change stands on it, guess he got tired of looking at the badge on the tailgate? Big Red said not today mister! That little import didn't have a chance! I'm still not sure what kind of car it was but it couldn't catch the Hemi.

You speeder You!

Like you, I often don't know what I beat unless I back off and let them in front. Not all vehicles are easily identifiable in the mirror when they are well behind you.

I guess I should have elaborated a little more. The little turd in the import rode my butt for about 20 minutes straight, all the way from the west end of Edmonton, through St. Albert and out onto highway 2 north. There is a 5 mile stretch from St. Albert to the first overpass. This is usually where traffic clears and we were doing all of 85km per hour stuck behind traffic. When he cut out behind me and infront of that poor sap in the left lane I serious thought he clipped him so I punched it just to avoid any carnage. The turd tried to run with me but I was not sticking around to be involved in any more of his crap driving. I backed off once I had a about 3 car lengths on the guy.

Way to represent. I've had little turds so close that all I could see was an antenna, but I knew there had to be a car somewhere back there. It really is nice to have a Hemi in those situations.

Great story Shane, glad you took care of business. Honestly sometimes when I move over slightly I'm surprised to find out there was actual car behind me.

Well it's compounded by the booster seat I have in the back middle seat. I've had cars literally disappear in the rear view. I can tolerate a lot of things in traffic but tailgating is the one thing that makes my blood boil. I get really really grumpy when someone hangs on my bumper. One of these days I'm just going to say screw it and lock em solid, and watch the fun unwind!
