My 2006 had this happen twice, once while in warranty and again in the middle of last winter after out of warranty. First time cost me $0 next time dealer said it would cost $600.00 as they have to take the dash out. I covered the defrost vents with gloves and drove it that way till I traded it in Oct. There is a little plastic deflector that moves to direct the air (less than $10.00 part I guess), the rest is labor. Unless you are comfortable with removing the dash you are stuck with no heat or air on the floor.
