Question If you could ony choose one mod...

I just bought an '06 1500 QC 4wd Big Horn with the 4.7L... Income tax time means Mod time. My truck is completely stock and I will only be able to pick one major mod (or several smaller ones i suppose). If you had to pick just one, what would it be and why?

I went with bedliner because all the others come in pairs or triples. If your doing a CAI you should also do the exhaust. Then if you go leveling kit you will want wheels and tires. This mod thing can be very hard on the wallet

I didn't choose the bed liner because I would prefer a bed rug. I chose exhaust because because of the options listed that might give the most performance boost.

Well I'd pick tuner, but it wasn't on the list, so I'd say linex is the best bang/buck on your list.

I didn't pick the bed liner for the same reason as RamEZ so my vote goes to level kit since lift/level is what I really want to do with mine, I'm just waiting for that ever elusive extra money lol.

You can say whatever you want. The poll is just MY top 4 mods. I want to know what you guys think is most important. For instance, RamEZ, why a bed rug over LineX?

I'm going in to have shocks (or struts) put on the front. OEM shocks. I made a deal with the Dealership since they were leaking a little oil. ITs really too bad i don't have my tax return now or I could have the leveling kit put on at the same time and save alot of labor.

I picked leveling kit, with exhaust as a close second. Any scratches or marring in the bed can be covered later with a bed liner, CAI is a mod I will never do to any of my vehicles due to the dusty environment I drive in and the gains are minimal if any at all.

I should have included nerf bars in the poll.

For me the first was a tonneau cover to keep things out of sight and semi-secure

I prefer the look and feel of the bed rug especially when kneeling on it.
