Question Big Horn Question....

So I have a 2010 Big Horn Edition. When looking for parts/mods I've been searching as an SLT (Big Horn isn't an option). As far as I can tell from research the Big Horn is nothing more than the SLT with a few of the packages added at a discount and is basically the same truck as the Lone Star package down in TX, just with different badging....apparently these are just regional variations of the SLT.

So the question is...should I continue searching for parts under SLT? I ask this because I'd prefer to go the Bilstein 5100 route for leveling, but it appears they don't make a set that fits the SLT?? I can find rears for it but nothing in the vein of front adjustable. I can't seem to find them anywhere and the one place that does says it doesn't fit the truck.

Thanks in advance!

Correct a BH and LS are based on a SLT . They group popular items to a savings pkg. And they are a regional package.
Most aftermarket will break down for specific model and others will not. If ur looking for a replacement grill, u will be finding u will need to know weather it's a BH or SLT. But if it's replacement door handles, they are the same.

Also keep in mind that some general hard parts are the same across the model line for 1500's, 2500's and 3500's and are not part of the option group packages.

Default Bilsteins for the SLT?

Yeah from what I can tell the difference is more aesthetic/convenience/luxury stuff than actual mechanical differences under the hood or underneath.

Still, as many people that are running Bilstein's I can't believe they don't make them for the 2010 SLT? Probably a different topic/thread, but no need to create yet another one for that. If the Bilstein's are not an option I'll probably just go 4" Rancho/ProComp lift. That being said, I'd rather do $500 in shocks than 2K in lift. Probably just email one of the vendors here and inquire about that.

I mean how much difference in suspension could there be between the different trims? Between the SRT and an Express? Sure, I could see a difference there, but between like the SLT and say an ST or Outdoorsman? Couldn't be that much difference....but I don't build them, I just drive em.
