Question Need SC tuning advice!!

Just ordered the new SC for the 2013 Ram and need some tuning advice. I want to program it one time as not to leave a high flash count in the computer for warranty issues. This is a performance based question for power and speed. Faster the better. Any help, recommendations, personal experience would help me. Thank is advance to all.

Lol. Well I guess the SC tuner is a no brainer by all the replies. Never used one before and was looking for some tips or things to consider.

If you are looking into how to tune, if you are slapping a supercharger on it I WOULD NOT use the can tune. I would get a custom tune, even if it is mail order it will be tailored to your mods/specific vehicle. Can tunes are good for bolt-ons....and even then they leave plenty of room for error therefore not maximized, a custom tune by a reputable tuner cannot be beat nor a value placed on it when it comes to the performance/safety/longevity of your vehicle.

Also have you done any transmission work to the truck? I have not really heard of anyone running any turbo or supercharger with some extensive transmission work... The fact is these transmissions are weak ass...

No tranny work, it's stock straight up.

Tranny work first... With a diablosport trinity you can go to a local shop with a dyno and have a custom tune done.

What tranny work would you recommend to support a tuner and a few bolt on's?

LOL, when you posted "SC",
it would seem some here are interpreting that as a Super Charger,

But I get the impression your intention was on advice for using a Superchips tuner.

The usefulness of the advice that followed can easily dismissed based on clarification of the original post.

^what he said lol

you don't need anything in addition to the supechips. The highest octane performance tune will give most performance increase. Keep in mind if you do this you will have to retune to tow/haul heavy loads.

Also always remember to retune to stock for dealer visits. Otherwise they overwrite your tune and you have to pay superchips ~$100 to get your tuner rebooted.
