Default Air Suspension failed

Any one else having the "optional" air suspension not work anymore?

Been to the dealer 3 times...and that will be another post. (Basically they never fixed it and told me they got it to work with the computer hooked up to it...BS.)
I left it with them for 3 days as my family and I went on vacation. Came back today to pick it up, got in and hit the button, and nothing happened. They said it worked when they tried. (Said the problem was a CPU update.)

Didn't have time to sit there anymore.

So know all four corners are at different heights. 4.25" RF, 6.75" RB, 7.8" LB, and 5.75" LF.

It looks like crap and I'm running out of patients with RAM and the Dealer.

I say the air compressor is dead, but the dealer said it worked for them but didn't have any more time to show me it work today. see attached photos.

I have the truck for 6 months now, and like it, but been to the dealer 3 times for CPU issues/recalls.

Funny you mention this. i have noticed the whole passenger side of my ram with air was 1-2 inches lower with truck empty, checked tire pressures all were the same but gap between top of tire and wheel well were different.. I have to go see my dealer...

air suspension 'in the past' has been a recipe for big expense down the road. Not just the domestics by Benz and the likes as well

today's electronics are a lot more reliable but I kicked the option around for quite some time, it was the delay in my decision of when to buy and in the end opted for coils and Air Lift 1000's and presumablely less headaches now and down the road

in a decade we are going to know the real facts.

how many trucks that are converted back to coils will really tell the tale

that is what was done in the past when subsequent owners finally threw in the towel when it came to the cost of maintaining the air suspension

Funny you say that as I had a Lincoln Towncar for years with air suspension - granted, it was a heavy car not a truck and was never used for towing or hauling - that never gave me a problem. It was very reliable, very comfortable, and while there was a "lemon" that I'd hear about every now and then, I never had a problem with mine. As indicated, time will tell but to date my Limited has been 100%.

Do you have GAP insurance? If so go to the ghetto and leave the keys in the truck while you have a nice long dinner with the wife. Then hopefully your problem will be solved
