oh yea, I can't wait for drive through's and such lol.. not to mention pulling into work and flipping the cut outs on.. wonder if they will know I am there or not heh.. but yup ordering up the parts in a month or so once the work round here picks back up and paychecks going back to where they need to be. Will get it all installed and put up clips and all that fun stuff.

Answer to what is a cutout lol - Basically an extension pipe the comes off your main exhaust pipe (usually comes with a section that just welds in place). The electric ones have a butterfly valve that goes on the extension and with them closed your exhaust runs just as it should. Open them up though and the exhaust now comes out from the extension. These are installed before the exhaust of course so you have that open header sound. Soon as you are done you flip a switch and back to having a regular exhaust. Go to the Summit Racing site and in the search field type in exhaust cutouts and you will get a lot of items. Check out the kits and that will give you a visual to put with what I just explained.

As for headers I would get long tubes. Find a company that makes headers for your year and engine and see which ones you like best. Ceramic coated ones are best for heat dissipation and the stainless are more for show. A good set up for a loud truck would be how mine is going to be run. It will be loud running the normal exhaust, but not insanely loud that it annoys anyone and everyone. Though if I want to be that loud all I have to do is flip a switch.

If ya got anymore questions let me know and I will do my best to answer them

Me to man, believe me on that. I looked up clips on youtube and some guy had his '10 on there with the Super 10s and it sounded amazing.

I love loud exhaust. Ive been thinking cutouts for along time. Just for the sole fact that in Wisconsin the state boys got it out for loud exhaust. And I'd hate to get rid of my obnoxious ability to roar past some idiot that cuts you off.

Yea round here if your truck is lifted (check), has a loud exhaust (check) and has tint anywhere on the lights or front windows (not yet) then the cops find a reason to pull you over and get you for something.. Lucky for me though I haven't been pegged... yet

OK new dilemma for the truck folks.. Should I leave the tonneau as it is and put the bed accent light kit in.. Or should I sell the tonneau and pick up a roll bar and toolbox, replace the tailgate with a net and install 4 HID HELLA's on the rollbar... OR roll bar, box and leave the tailgate and install the bed extender cage? of couse the HID HELLA's would be installed on the last option lol

anything with Hellas is my vote.

the last option. that way your truck still looks whole and solid with the tailgate

Ya I have to admit I've never been a fan of the net-gate. Just doesn't look right lol But if you're constantly putting stuff back there it's a great convenience. If you're set on getting rid of the hard cover than I say black diamond plate low-profile toolbox, black roll bar, and bed extender.
