Will be another week or two.. DOn't want to lift her up 3" and not have the 35's underneath the truck. Would look slightly stupid with the stockies. Putting a downpayment on the tires tomorrow and ordering the wheels hopefully next week. And yes you have to name the truck. Believe me you will feel closer to your truck lmao. Please note the hint of sarcasm. I've always named my trucks.. oddly enough after Greek deities..

hey madsoul i tried to pm you but it said i dont have enough posts to message so i'll put it here

Just seen a post you made at

I have heard stories that ride stiffens with cranking them up and using stock shocks so I figured I would just skip the slight possibility of it happening and just put some new equipment on. There again I also wanted to make sure the new 35's will be able to fit when I put them on lol.
Then i went and looked at your build thread. Nice lookin build you got goin. I just bought a 05 ram quad cab a few weeks ago and after drivin it around stock i figure its time to start goin at her again.

-For the debadge did you just use the fishing line and goo-gone like everyone says or was there any other trick to it?
-You should let me know when you get your leveling kit on. I have been researching leveling ktis for weeks even before i purchased my truck and cant seem to find the right thing. Which kit did you buy with the 3" in the front and 1" in the back? Regardless i guess i should wait on my leveling kit questions untill you put yours on so you know. shoot me a quick message with some pictures or with a link to ur build thread when ur done if you dont mind, let me know how it went. i am torn between buying new keys and a block and whatnot or jsut cranking my stock keys untill it is level and maybe putting the extra dough to 2 new shocks in the front, should be the same right?

Thanks in advance! Long live the hemis!

Yup the fishing line was easy and cheapest lol. Goo Gone works pretty good, I also used Mean Green but be careful because it warns against using on painted surfaces. I am going to be putting a Scratch Remover compound on to help restore where my fingernails may have scratched the clear coat and will also give it a more blended appearance with the ghosting and all. Will be putting the leveling kit, all four shocks and 315/70r17's on this coming week. Will post before and after pics for you so you can see how it looks. I went with a Supreme Suspension off of e-bay. It was a good price, just sucks they use USPS to ship because I am still waiting for it to get here. Lucky for them I can't afford the tires until next week lol. The kit I bought allows 3" of lift in the front and has a block to raise the rear up 1". Hope this helps and if ya need any help with finding things that are on my thread just ask and I will point you in the direction.

Well my lift is still in the mail. Never ever use USPS folks. So I started on a different mod and will have it hooked up tomorrow. Pictures will be posted if it is done with daylight still out and about. If not then just haveta wait lol. But since the lift isn't here guess I will also be ordering my wheels and then saving up for tires.. All this is giving me a headache really lmao

FINALLY!! I got a mod done. Sheesh it took me long enough but weather was being well.. a biotch. I like em I really do...

Well I Plasti-Dipped them because I didn't like the gloss black look...

Got them all ready to go and the weather turned shotty

Today turned out to be nice though so I said skip it and put them on... even when it started to rain while I was putting the second flare on...

And I kept my girls on the truck also heh

Nice man, glad you kept the girls on there. But now with with them on there with that back end shot it looks like they're just calling for big meaty tires
Good call on using plasti-dip to get rid of the glossy look, it wouldn't have looked right.

Oh the meats are coming... Hmm.. That really didn't sound right... New tires in two weeks... Wheels will be ordered on Wednesday and then after two paychecks will be picking up the tires. Thank god my buddy at the shop has tucked my M/T's away for me so I don't have to wait for the delivery on them.

So I did another mod.. Realized I still had all those badges from the outside just laying around with nothing to do.. So I reused some of them.
