Get your tax return yet? That should be enough to get ARH's!

why not get the SRT LTs and try them and if they dont work return em? The only place a header install is tight is the drivers side around the steering knuckle (mine rubs ) the passanger side is a breeze though. In all reality all you need is the headers themselves to clear everything, any semi competent exhaust shop could fab you a y set up or a dual setup from the collector.

Im going to keep my cats, although we dont have emissions test in AL if u get pulled over for anything and they look and see no cats its a major fine. My plan now is to save up dilegently until i can afford 2 sets that way some can go towards a ring for my girl down the road and etc. In the mean time i'm waiting on some other options to become available, thanks everyone for all the help and if any new info becomes available let me know!

Greedy APD cops! They just recently got off an investigation by the FBI. Two higher ups went to jail for fixing tickets and i believe aiding in a betting. Also they just passed a sound ordnance so if u have loud exhaust, they look for cats and mufflers.

Installed my JBA Headers. Jacked up the front and put it on jack stands. Removed front wheels and wheel well liners and unbolted the steering shaft. I did most of the install sitting on a stool. It took about 4 1/2 hrs by myself. Knowing which tools I need and what to do I think I could do it in 2 hrs now. I had to bend the dipstick tube a little to reinstall it and keep it from touching the header. On the passenger side install the gasket with the top second bolt from the rear (if you don't you will cross thread it, trust me on this. Luckily I was able tap the threads). The header flange is slotted so you can slip the header onto the bolt then you can install another bolt to help hold the header. It would help to have another person helping. The drivers side flange is slotted for all the lower bolts so you can install the gasket and lower bolts and slip the header onto the lower bolts. I didn't use any of the mounting hardware that came with the headers. I used Stage 8 Header Bolts and factory manifold gaskets. There were supposed to be some stand-offs to raise the heater hoses up a little further from the header but they were not in the box so I'll have to contact JBA, but I don't think they are really needed. I didn't disconnect the y-pipe since I don't have one as I have true duels. I just unbolted the exhaust from the manifold and pushed the exhaust back as far as I could and it was fine since I installed the headers from the fender well.
