By the way, when i mentioned buyer, i did not mean you
I meant the buyer for Chrysler that purchased the leather from the tanner
They should have spotted the oily leather right from the start
long before it was on the way to the upholsterer

Nope I totally understood you, no worries my firend...My wife says that I have a permanent smile since they were corrected.....I totally agree you as well.....This might sound a little off side but I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders..... this was bothering me to no end so I am glad it's over.

I again just want to say thanks to everyone on this forum.....This IS the best forum out there.....

Sorry to revive such an old thread, but is there a resolution to this white residue? It seems Dodge dealers in the States just want to give guys the runaround on this problem.

Just pick up a spew remover and you'll be fine. You can get it online or a furniture store should have a similar product for treating leather couches/seats.

Just an update on the spew remover. IF you put that on your seats without the dealer doing it the warranty is null and void so be very careful. I ended up using saddle soap and saddle conditioner. The dealer detailed the entire interior in two days and I havent had a problem since. The spew remover did not seem to work as well. Just my two cents. I felt like crap everytime I saw it. Let me know how you make out.....

I figure a test patch is worthwhile -- Which brand of saddle soap products?
