I had a whistle in mine. Was the drivers side MIRROR! Sounded like a tea Kettle lol

Apparently a "seal" or something was missing in mine. New mirror put on, whistle has vanished.

Default Ram whistle

2011 ram 1500 quad cab with 55,000 miles.

I have been reading these posts about the whistling noise and I am having the same noises.

Other issues that I have had:
TC replaced
Rear diff replaced due to 12 pt pinion nut bulletin
Left and right front CV axles

What I am experiencing is that this whistle is between 30-45 MPH and comes in under acceleration but right when the TC locks, then it stays for a while after letting off the accelerator. I have a feeling that this issue is in most of the dodge ram trucks. I was given a 2012 with 27,000 plus miles on it and the noise in that one was just as bad if not worse.

Its your transmission cooling lines to the front of the truck, you need to install a rubber piece between the support and the lines. This has been covered in many threads. I have the same issue till I installed my Magnaflow, now I rarely hear it

I had the same described whistle sound on my 2010 ram at about 30,000 miles it turned out to be a small leak in the exhaust donut. The sound did not seem consistent with an exhaust noise problem but did get more prominent at higher speeds. The dealer warranteed it and the noise went away once repaired.
