Default rough country lift kit questions...

so i have a 2012 1500 st. wanting to do a small lift. was thinkin of a leveling kit... then i found http://roughcountry.com/suspension/4...ram_combo.html that... wondering if this is a good idea. as far as.. will it effect gas? will i have to re calibrate mph? what about steering affects? and any vibrations even in 4wdrive? it says its a 3.75 inch lift. which basically is a 2 inch block and a body lift as well... thanks for the help

It will effect your gas mileage, however, depending on your driving habits, it probably wont be noticeable. When you lift a vehicle it becomes less aerodynamic therefor requiring more gas to continue at the same rate of speed. Again, probably wont be noticeable.

No, unless you buy larger tires, you will not have to re-calibrate mph.

Steering should be similar to stock.

Some trucks vibrate with under a 2" lift, others wont vibrate until almost 3". It's hard to tell for sure until you install. Body lift alone wont effect your ride since you are not altering the ride height at all, only the body height.

I just installed my RC 2.5" front and 1.75" rear leveling kit tonight, went really well. Wheel alignment tomorrow and I'll let you know what I find for problems, hopefully none.

Absolutely love the look!
