Default '97 1500 sport trim questions

I'm new to the site and trucks in general. I recently bought a '97 Ram 1500 sport. I am currently fixing it up to make it a dependable vehicle. In the process I wanted to make some cosmetic changes. I wanted to add a chrome grill to the front in place of the painted but looking around at replacement grills specifically says "not for sport".
Will other 1500 grills just not fit? Seems like I could just change grills. Anything else make the sport trim different?
Appreciate all help and guidance as I learn more about my truck.

You can use non-Sport grilles from 94-01. The 98-01 Sport model grilles and bumper are different.
Keep it Mopar, buy Mopar Parts.

I am completely disgusted every time I think about having to take a distributor cap off of one of these trucks -Screamintrashcan
