lol wow that is a huge difference.

I'm going to the track tonight with my buddy (RT) he'll probably run mid 14's and I'll probably run high 15's. It's about 70's-80's out but again at sea level.

el paso is one of the worst places for drag racin..heat and altitude...use dragtimes to see what you would run at my local track (30 ft above sea level...)

Two runs at 16.1

The RT ran 14.6 and 14.5 IIRC.

Needless to say, I wasn't very happy. I ran identical times to when I ran last time when it was 100 deg out. It was pretty hot out friday night though.

I ran 13's in Cali, week later I run 16's in El Paso.. ~2sec slower on avg.

Lots of new guys that race at El Paso Motorplex, get shocked by the times they get.

I'm in El Paso to!

We should have a meet sometime...perhaps a cruise starting a Hudson's and then off to Clint.

I ran a 15.03 last week. All I have is a Ypipe, muffler and a K&N drop in filter. It's fun because EVERYONE suffers at this altitude. I ran against a 2006 6.0 GTO and won! I also won against an AMC Gremlin with a big block running 11's...he red lighted hehe.

Take off about 0.92 seconds... that is your altitude correction at around 3600 to 3800 feet above sea level.

Yea, we should have a meet up.

How many other members on here from El Paso?

I also live up in Alamogordo NM on weekends, I think I saw someone on here from there.
