Well you would take the van transmission and remove the OD assembly then remove the OD assembly from the 4WD unit and then just bolt it up to the 2wd transmission, being sure that the transmissions have the same mount pattern and being sure to use new gaskets etc...
The issue you will probably have will be with the electronics, the 2000 Dodge Ram has an electronic governor and the 94 Dodge Ram Van has a hydraulic governor, though the transmission will work the ECM from your pickup will probably get confused when it is requesting the signals from the electronic sensor in the transmission which the 94 doesn't have. The 94 only has a neutral safety switch, od solenoid and if equipped with a lock up tcc then a tcc solenoid. All in all it will be either 2 or 3 pins. The 96 trucks is when they started using an E model transmission instead of an H. Provided the plug fits I think you can just swap valve bodies but I am not 100% sure.
Oh you might have difficulty removing the OD assembly, the intermdiate shaft has a slight tendency to get it self stuck in the OD unit and if this has occured you will have to completely take apart the transmission, don't ever try to force the unit off the intermediate shaft.
