Default Generation swap?

Anyone out there know anything about be able to put newer generation front clip on 2001 Dodge 3500?

Well, crazier things have been done, but you are looking at a complete fab. You might get lucky and one or 2 bolts will line up, but all of the mounting stuff is completely different. If you go just up to the next generation, you might get it to look ok, but if you step up to the new body style, you will have to do a lot of extra fab work to make the lines work since the new models have a "chopped" cab. Good luck though, definitely need pics if you want to try it!!!

It's definitely possible. In Vol 36, NO.10 issue of Truckin' their was a Mexican Market Ramcharger in there with one put on it. The Mecican Market Ramchargers are an 99-01 Ram front clip and cab to begin with.

Yep sounds like a lot of work and not sure I would want to do the new style at my age. Too much work. Thanks, for replying
