Default Bilsteins shocks are ordered!

I got both the front and rear shocks ordered minutes ago. Kevin from AllShocks emailed me to say that while the paperwork isn't completed, he double checked and said the shocks ARE on hand.

Front: BE5-F812-H0
Rear: BE5-F813-H0

Finally get to level out my 4x4! Hate the rake!

Hopefully you have better luck installing then that I did... The lower struct bolt is seized and I couldnt get it out. I am in no way and experienced mechanic so rather than messing up something else I scheduled an appt. with he dealership to have them install them. They are gonna charge $350 w/alignment. Good luck..

Nice! You will love them. I have them in my 2007 RC 4x4 and put on the 17s with 35 Mud Rovers and it looks like a whole new truck! IMO I think it is how they should have come stock!

Haha, well I'm the office manager over a fleet of 55 logging trucks. We have 3 bays downstairs with every tool known to mankind (outside of the space program). I'll find a way to get these installed onsite.

They arrive March 5th on a Monday, just in time for them to sit in the box all week long until Saturday rolls around. Dammit!

Sounds like someone needs to buy some beer and pizza for one of the mechanics and get them done Monday night. Only took my inexperienced a$$ about 2 1/2 hours to install mine. Just don't forget the alignment. I have them set a 2.1" lift and I think it's about perfect.

The 2.5" setting would look great also if not better but too many people that are setting theirs at full 2.5" are getting the vibration issues that I do not have.

What size 17" wheel are you running? I want to run 17x9 with 35 12.5r17 but need to know the wheel offset...

The highest setting on the 4th gen Bilsteins is actually 2.8". I personally agree that 2.1 is high enough. To each his or her own though.

I was going off of memory and I remembered it was around 2.5" but your correct, 2.8 is the highest setting. It's been about 6 months since I put mine on. Love the truck without the huge rake!

BTW, how do you like your Zeon LTZs?

I like my level too. It really makes a huge difference in the overall appearance when in actuality it's a really small difference.

I still love the Coopers. I have about 6k miles on them now and they are a little louder than when new but still not very loud...especially for the aggressive tread design. My only regret (now that I have the level) is that I didn't go with 275/65/20. I think it would look really good with the level and I still say these trucks should leave the factory with that size anyway. It's going to be a while but the next set of tires on my truck will be that size.
