Hey guys, Mopar Muscle Magic @ Sacramento raceway, was a hot day so i wasn't trying to break any records. Running on a stock tq converter and no spray... here are the results

run 1 @ 10:11 am - tailgate on with slicks, regular belt, open cutouts (da 1571)
60- 2.069
1/8th 8.82
1/4 13.76 @ 98.79

run 2 @ 10:44 am - tailgate on with slicks, regular belt, closed cutouts (da 1571)
60- 2.092
1/8th 8.74
1/4 13.67 @ 102.16

run 3 @ 11:12 am - no tailgate, slicks, shortbelt, headlight scoop, closed cutouts (da 1924)
60- 2.020

1/4 13.46 @ 100.59

these are all actual times, corrected on the best one would have been 13.28 @ 102.9

So what size tires did you end up running with your 3.92's and were you happy with the combo?
Were you able to hold off going into 4th before the traps?

Roger I'm sorry if you were not aware that I AM a die hard Drag Racer
and as such, am WELL aware that Density Altitude plays a huge roll in track times.

and the reason I provided you with a link to the information you inquired about.

I run at 2300' elevation and High DA,
often reaching 4500 Density Altitude during summer months when temperature,
relative humidity and barometric pressure wreak havoc on track times.

My Ram ran a best 13.8/98.5 NA at 2500' DA
that corrects to 13.4/102 at 0 DA with just intake/exhaust/tune and DR's

Most recently hit 13.373/99.2 at 3400' DA with a supercharger
in full street trim on heavy AT tires (305/50R20 Terra Grapplers)

and will easily Hit mid 12's with weight reduction on my Drag Radials in track trim.

Back in the 80's I used to race with my dad. We had 76 Camaro we would run in the K&N series, and then a 79 Vega to run down the straight track when the NHRA came to town. Oh, I'm from Sacramento, so I've been to and down that track many, many times.

Damn!!! Hot day and the da was 1900 max!!!! Lol, damn Fred! I would kill for that. The best I ran the other day was a 8.83 1/8 at 78 in 3000 da, got down to 2800 and was gonna make another pass and they shut down the track so I didn't get to run it completely cooled down, that was full prep with seats still in and cutouts open. Can't wait for some better air. This shit is depressing lmao

Oh I hearya..track elevation is only 30-60ft so on just warm days our da is still good. Looking forward to 10/20 truck drags here as it seems the weather trend is startin to cool a little bit...
