Default Firestone Destination A/T ?

I am hoping someone would be helpful enough to share a few pics of a Ram with the Firestone Destination A/T tires.

I am at a point where I need new tires and these fit my budget. A local shop has a set of 4 they ended up stuck with on a cancelled order or something, and they are willing to sell them significantly cheaper than anything else. Sort of a one-time only deal.

I am also hoping for some feedback from anyone running these. I know these are not the most fabulous, mind blowing tires, but for I need to replace the bald goodyears ASAP, and these are in my price range.

Any feedback or pics would be appreciated.

I think armyofone has these tires, maybe PM him. He seems to like them.

I put a set on an 09 at work the other day with 20s. I thought they looked nice on there with the white letters out. The slightly aggressive tread gave it a nice mean look. Just me .02 on looks. As far as the tires themselves, they seem to be good tires. But like any other AT just make sure you rotate them and have your truck in good alignment.

I had them on my Nissan Xterra. They are better than bald tires and if U can get them cheap I'd do it. Off road they aren't so good. They load up with mud and become slicks real fast. They are slick on dry dirt roads too. On snow they are OK at best. Dry paved roads or rain they do good and are quiet and comfortable riding. I wouldn't buy them again unless they were real cheap though.

I can't say that they're a BAD tire, but I was not a fan. My next-door neighbor had them on his Ram, and they were loud and like ridgerunner said (and I agree) they're not always reliable on dry dirt or in the mud. I couldn't believe how quickly they packed up and became basically useless.

If you can get 'em cheap, they might be worth a look - they're definitely a good looking tire. I prefer the BFG A/Ts myself, but you also pay for those through the nose (and they're quite noisy IMHO).

They're alright, and for the right price, might be a little better (always nice when things come at a discount!). Anything's better than the stock Wranglers....I still can't fathom why they insist on running those things stock....I hate them.

I'm running Firestone Destination AT's in 285/70R17 on my 2WD 2006 Ram 2500 CTD and have been more that happy with them - enough so that I also put a set of them on the 4x4 Toyota Tacoma I also used to own. I traded the Toyota before I got any real miles on them, but on my 2500 I have them set to max sidewall pressure and rotate every 10,000 miles. I have about 44,000 miles on them and they have about 15-20,000 more left on them (rated for 50,000 miles). I didn't notice any appreciable increase in noise over the stock Michelins (which got me stuck in wet grass twice) and when my dad got a small Kubota backhoe stuck in my backyard (tried to dump it into a ravine!), we pulled it out with the 2500 and the Firestones. When they are worn out, I will get them again.
