Default diablo intune goes from good to worst????

has anyone had any issues with the first tune they loaded being the best...and then any other they tried just getting worst and worst, including trying to reload that original (original tune you loaded, not back to stock) tune?....long story short.

tried the 91, the truck loved it
tried the "Diablo", thuck felt spongy
reloaded 91, back to great.

installed a vararam CAI, reloaded the same 91 tune, and complete garbage. i mean worst than stock by FAR when i say it was raining out, and i didn't spin the tires once, its the truth. the pedal could go to the floor and hardly move the truck. now something this intune has done since day one, was when adjusting trans line pressure..it says 255...until you click right to increase it...then it displays 50...yes 50...and thats as high as it goes, now these first 2 tunes, it felt like a +50 psi and firm nice firm shifts. now i don't know if my truck is "learning" what the diablo has done to it and doesn't like it, but i'm mystified. it really feels like 50 psi of line pressure and stuck in high. it felt like i was driving my old 86 chevy with a 305. my current tune is yet another attempt at the 91, this time not touching the trans numbers...once the throttle comes in..it feels pretty good, but the shift firmness, and initial throttle response is pure garbage. the stock tune i tried in between these 91's with just the vararam would run circles around the present settings...any ideas?

i called diablo and the kid i got told me to load it, pull out the key, lock it, and it'd fully restore the tune. that it was some kind of glitch. he was fairly short with me. seems like mike is the only one that knows whats going on there, every other interaction i've had with them has been a "i know more than you" attitude. i may call tomorrow and specifically ask for mike.

I have found that Vaz (one of the tech guys) is very helpful.

Good luck getting it resolved. Ive been trying to get InTune to work with my truck for over a month. They kept stringing me along, now im outside the 30 day satisfaction guarantee. I tried several times before the expiration to get a refund and they kept deferring me. The four page thread that another member had started, and I was piggy backing off of, mysteriously disappeared.
Now they are not responding to my forum postings or my emails.

Even have been trying to get their CEO Mike Wesley (mikew@diablosport.com) to resolve this, and nothing.

I am at this point Im ready take them to court, tired of getting jerked around.

BIG EPIC FAIL DiabloSport

they stated earlier that they were looking for a local truck with the same issue....who knows how long that will take.
What makes this even worse was they made no effort to rectify this by offering to me to be a beta tester, or upgrade me to a trinity, i would have been more then happy to pay the difference, but nope.....stall tactics was all I got

Expected more from a company that appeared to have a good reputation.

Good luck, hope it works out for you.

Was going through my emails today to their CEO, I had requested a refund on 2/13, within the 30 day window and they clearly state, "30 day no questions asked money back guarantee"

Talked to frank and mike today, both good guys. i downloaded an update, and mike also had me send him 2 tune files from my tuner to double check. I was told to retune the truck in the mean time and see if it helps now that the intune updated...well its pouring here outside so not much sense in doing that now, but i will leet ya'll know tomorrow

so i reloaded the 91 after this update....and i won't say it's 100% as good as it was on day one....but it's close. mike's sending my tune to his computer program guy to look farther into it.

The important thing to remember is that this is a brand new device and there is no amount of beta testing that can account for issues in all the different trucks. I had to wait a week and a half to get the glitches out so mine could even load a tune. It was a bit frustrating but I know those guys are working hard to get it all figured out. To the OP I know what you mean about shift firmness. My first attempt at the trans tune was so soft I had to floor it just to move. It even gave me a P0600 code which typically means the trans is toast but luckily I was able to clear the code and load the saved stock file. I run the 91 tune and left the trans alone.
