Are you doing the R/T 4.10 rear end on another customer 4.10?
After reading Candy08 success on the 4.56 Yukon and being able to spin his 37's...I was like WTF

I know once I put my 34-35 Series tires, Im sure I will feel the bog that everyone feels and that will tick me off.
So....I am planning for a gear upgrade as well.
Just trying to do my research now, so when Im ready, I can do it.
Plus I need to find a reputable differential shop here in TO.

How and where are you sourcing the 4.10 LSD?
Sounds like the 4.56 is much more challenging where as the 4.10 is a swap

I'll let everyone know, no biggie. I went up to the parts and service desk and had the manager come over as well because I knew the service desk guy would be a little out of his league on this one, and brought up to them that I had a 11 Ram with (insert tech rear end info hear) and wanted to upgrade to the 11 R/T rearend with the 4.10 LSD. They said they'd be willing to help out and do the work for about $1200 with install because they can't guarantee it'll actually work even though the computer says it should. Sh!t happens, so they're cutting me a deal since it's the first time they've ever done something like that on a newer truck

I was hearing this is upwards of $2k
So that is a good deal.

How how does one with 4X4 get 4.10 in the front?
Im guessing that is where another shop would come in?

I will question my dealer tomorrow and see what they say.

Hmmm... I may have to question my local dealership and see if they can do a 4.10 swap on my 4x4.. I hope so. Kind of want to put a 4.10 LSD in mine also.

I don't know if they could, I know the rear end is different on the 11's, I don't know if they're different from early 4th gens to early 3rd gens but if they carry it they can do it. I'd do it myself but the apartment complex gets pissy about doing work that involves vehicle fluids being spilled...
