Looks good man.....what happened with your truck on ebay???? (I'll have to read back...)

Paint turned out great.

How do the vents attach to the console piece?

Who painted the console for you?
Or did you do it?
My buddy Grant works out at a place called Auto Salon here in town does fantastic work. I prepped and primed everything, and he did the taping, painting and wet sanding.

Someone stole a pic of the truck from the Z and posted it up on eBay to sell that buttom grill insert I have. I didn't even get it from that seller and it's also priced a lot more than what I paid for it.

The center console vents attach to the console via 6 tabs like the side vents connect to the trim, but in order to get them out you have to remove the console. The whole thing is really easy to get off, there's a couple Torx 15 screws on top and 2 Phillips screws on the bottom and one behind the 110 plug Bezel. After that just pull on the dash to release the clips.

The painted air damn is a great idea but I can't do it, I have a bad habit of pulling my truck up until my front wheels touch the sidewalk which means my air damn turns into a curb feeler 80% of the time lol I've never smacked the thing but the bottom edge has a funny way of scraping. At my apartment complex I have to reverse into my spot or I would smash it though as the sidewalk is almost a foot tall for some reason. Most popular parking areas in Jacksonville don't have those "wheel chock" style stops on the ground, a lot of places just extend a very tall sidewalk. Also another issue is that if you painted it, you'd never really know it was painted because the sun would never hit it, kind of like how my headlights look almost look black until the sun is low enough to hit them right.

air dams on a lifted truck are worthless IMO ... I always loose em somewhere in a hole or something offroading.... I know for a fact where two of mine are here in SD LOL

so Matt, with your logic on them being worthless on a lowered truck and mine being worthless on a lifted truck.... that leaves only mall crawlers and stock trucks that they are not worthless on.

fast youve never heard of 40oz curls?!

Guess I'll have to bring us back to reality before Brad catches me off topic again

It's Finished!!!
