Default Who watches/has watched.......

Has anyone else watched Doomsday Preppers on National Geographic? I'm not much for reality tv or whatever but it's definitely interesting! Some of these ppl are a bit ridiculous and spend way to much money on the end of the world or w/e.
I have guns and ammo, military experience/background, and common since, If that isn't enough then I guess it would have been a good ride! I guess we would see then just how fast my ram would go!

I have watched it too and if the end of the world comes so be it, its inevitable at some point in time. I think the show is a bit over the top and some of those people seem to be wack jobs lol. Ive got a bunch of guns, a 4x4 truck and a pit bull. Ill make it a few days

Someone brought up a good point to me the other day.

When the mayan calander was made leap year didnt exist. Without leap years it would be something like May 2013... which would be about 4 months past the "end of the world"...

food for thought.

The calendar that most of use is called the Julian Calendar, had many mistakes

It was off by 6 years, JC died 6 years earlier than the calendar was started, so this is really 2018 AC

Sunday was suppose to be the last day of the week, not the first, it is suppose to be the day of rest

JC was born when the sheep & shepherds slept in the fields, so it was late spring or summer when he was born & it took them about 6 months to travel to Rome to report it.
So Christmas should be around June

Don't you just love history

Well I have seen it along with millions of viewers. The good thing is I know where they all live now so I will just go take their stuff since the show points out all their weaknesses and strengths ...lmao J/K ..The show is over the top but someone realized there was an oppertunity to exploit yet another part of real life.

thought exactly the same thing. this woman gets a huge amount of food delivered at night that the neighbours wouldnt know of her large foodsupply. chances are the neighbours watch tv and know it now!

FIRST thing i would do is weld plates to my truck and paint it flat black to look like this!

Today is the end of the world for many people, today is also the beginning of the world for many people...I don't see this cycle changing any time soon!

^Very well said!

That show is great, I love when they point out a weakness to the plan and the guy has a puppy dog look on his face lol.

Some people are just nuts.

Besides, it's all just a bunch of bull crap anyway, isn't it?

As far as the mayan "end of the world".....I believe it's more like the Y2K incident....or lack thereof.
