I had new leveling keys installed on my 2004 this week, now the front end is sitting higher then the rear end . Has anyone had this happen to them when they installed their new keys ? I'm now thinking on adding blocks to the rear end . There is about 2" difference between the front to the back when I measure it .

If your front is sitting 2" higher than the rear then you are headed for major problems. Stock, the rear of these trucks sits about 2.5" higher than the front. So you can do the math on how much your front has been raised if it's 2" higher than the rear now. That's assuming the rear is stock of course. Generally, 2" is the max you want to lift one of these trucks with the torsion bars. Maybe, maybe 2.5" but I personally would not go over 2". If you are sure the measurements are correct then you need to get that fixed asap. It's surely got to ride like crap and I would assume you are getting some vibrations at low speeds when you accelerate. Not to mention, your CVs have got to be screaming in pain.

Raising the back to match is a bad idea. Address the front properly before parts start breaking. I honestly don't see how you could get it that high but if it truly is, it's just a matter of time.

Took my truck back today to the shop . They checked it over and did some tweaking and now it's sitting level the way it should be.
I still have my stock shocks front and rear and I have over 200 k on my truck . Now with the leveling kit should I buy longer shocks for the front and just stock height for the rear ?
