Agreed. If it makes you feel better, the masses are pleased with your progress and we can mind our own for a while

Thanks. I'm originally from Michigan and my wife is from Wisconsin... been up here for the last two weeks.

She is from Racine. We made it back home very early in the morning yesterday. I spent a little time this morning trying to figure out how to get ST (without axles) on my trailer... that might require a separate project thread altogether. DOH!

As you know, life has taken some wild turns recently. On June 12, my father-in-law passed away unexpectedly, so we spent just over 2 weeks in Wisconsin with family. Just as the dust was settling, my wife received a job offer in Michigan (my old stomping grounds). The opportunity for her is just way too good to pass up, so now we are relocating to the Mitten. Storm Trooper was in no condition to be moved, so a buddy came over and helped me get it rolling... it's laughable, but it rolls enough to get on the trailer.

Steering it was a pain... literally. I was using a 2x4 to turn the truck and it slipped, sending my hurtling into a jackstand. I'm fairly certain I either broke a rib or severely bruised it, but there's not much that can be done about that and it's already starting to feel a lot better. Thankfully the winch on the trailer made the job fairly easy and I didn't break the jackstand.

We'll be house shopping next week and I've made it pretty clear that a REAL shop is on the must-have list, so maybe I can make up some time on ST in time for some topless winter wheeling!

After reading this thread I have so many comments I don't know where to start....here goes:

Awesome build! How about a WooHoo! to your Doh!
Love the black/red rims- thanks for the idea
Love that little ST figurine in every pic, hilarious
You have talent indeed
If I ever need a laser mounted on my pet shark (someday I will), I am coming to you!

Glad you got your rig up on a trailer minus the bruised rib and maybe ego. I'll say nothing of the F-250 towing it Hopefully you'll get her up and running for some off-road snow plowing hahaa Good luck bud!!
