I finally saw a set on a 3rd Gen Ram yesterday on the way home from work. They are even better looking in person. The Zeon LTZ is probably one of the few tires that didn't come with white outlined letter in the 20's that could make it's way on my truck.

Like you, Im torn on choosing a tire! As you said, though, there are just TOO many glowing reviews of the tires for them to not be good. I even checked out an f150 and tundra forum, to see what those boys were saying about them. They like em a lot too.

As you mentioned, I have a sport. I wanted an aggressive tire for snow but nothing TOO "chunky". To me, the Zeons are right on the edge between looking aggressive and looking TOO "off road" for my taste.
Nice! Sounds like your looking for the same type of tire as me. Looking for that aggressive look coupled with performance in snow, and wet weather traction but nothing too aggressive that is gonna create a bunch of road noise. Zeon seems to a tire that fits that bill.

Please post lots of photos after they get installed, and your thoughts about the tires performance too.

Lol, yep, you hit the nail on the head about the kind of tire I want. Sounds like you have been reading as many reviews and comparing as many tires as me!

The ONLY thing that gave me temporary cold feet on the Zeons was the fact that Cooper put a warranty on their other tires but not the Zeons. That concerned me about th wear life. After reading feedback from several owners here, however, I dont think that's a big issue.

I'll be ordering these on Monday and I will definitely throw a bunch of pics on here as soon as I have them installed.

HEYBROWNDOG, I wanted to get back to you about the Zeons. I know you had the same concerns as me about them being a bit too chunky for a "sporty" truck. I put them on this week and I am loving them so far. I'll do a new post tomorrow and throw some pics up.

To be HONEST with you, though, they ARE a bit more "offroad" looking than I originally planned. If your heart is set on something more like the Duelet AT Revo2, the Zeon looks much "chunkier".

After all is said and done though, I think it looks really really nice on my Ram. the ride is smooth. My Goodyears were worn out and I never realized how hard the ride had become until I put the new Coopers on.

I also dont notice ANY difference in road noise from the original Goodyears.

Sweet!!! Can't wait to see the pics.

My heart wants to take a chance on the Coopers. They just seem like a hell of a tire for the money. $200 bucks for a 20" tire ?!?!?! Can't get much better than that. Might be getting them from Discount Tire Direct though.....like 20-22 bucks cheaper than my buddy's cost! Go figure....

I don't mind the chunky off road look. Matter of fact I like it, but I have no interest in picking up road noise, let alone lose MPG's with gas being $4 bucks a gallon. The Cooper would be perfect if I could get the white lettering. Maybe we should start a petition to Cooper...LOL !!!!!

Curious...how many miles did you get out of the OEM Goodyear's?

I had 73,000km on the Goodyears... They had a bit of tread left but had begun to ride rough and had very very bad traction in the wet. As everyone seems to agree, the Goodyears aren't great in the wet at any time, but I felt like they really dropped off in the last 3-4 months.

I'll tell you straight, the Coopers do not seem to have ANY more road noise than the Goodyears ever had. It is warm today and I had the windows down... No noticeable road noise, even on the highway.

As far as the look goes, I somehow feel that they look a bit chunkier in real life than on the pics I poured over online. Like I said, though, I love the look.

I paid $245 per tire up here. Some of the other tires I priced out were well over $300 each, so I feel satisfied with the price. (we are used to paying through the nose for stuff up here, lol)

I can't say much about fuel mileage yet. Hopefully no worse than the Goodyears...

I know this is a thread about the Cooper tires but for anyone who is looking take a look at the Bridgestone Revo's as well. I had a set on my 2007 Ram and they were night and day difference over the stock good year HP's
