Default Need Help with whistle/squeal noise

My 2012 5.7 4WD is making a strange whistling/squealing noise starting at 5 mph and is steady until wind noise drowns it out. I can't hear it with the windows up and it seems to be coming from the front driver's side wheel area. I've turned the engine off with the transmission in neutral at 20 mph and the noise is still there. Also, it seems to go away when turning left but gets slightly louder when turning to the right. Any one else noticed this or have any ideas?

Thanks

I'd bring it to the dealer and let them figure it out. Sounds to me like it could be a wheel bearing or just a brake pad dragging.

Could be wind noise from the drivers side mirror. Just a thought. I've read about it on here before.

Update:

Took it by the dealer last week and the service manager thought it was the hub on the drivers side and ordered the part. Left the truck with him all day Friday and got a call that they replaced the part and the noise was still there.

He said they put it on a lift and let the wheels spin and could not hear the noise, even with the wheels "loaded". Apparently the truck only makes the noise when on the ground. I asked him what else it could be and he is stumped. He wants me to bring the truck back in next week for them to work on some more but confidence is low.

BTW, the truck is a 2010 not a 2012 (Fat Finger Syndrome).

Any thoughts?

Try replacing the antenna....I had 14" one with a spiral pattern that goes along the length and it would whistle when I would drIve around...replaced it with an even shorter one with no pattern and noise was gone....several other people have had success with this fix....hope this helps..

Another update:

Took the truck by the dealer two more times and they created a star case. Long story short, they determined it was not a mechanical issue by replacing a wheel bearing and extensive testing. They ruled out engine, tranny, bearings, brakes, axles, etc. Apparently, they have concluded, the wheels themselves are the culprit. I have the Laramie chrome-clad jobs. Switching the wheels and tires out with a new truck on the lot with normal alloys seemed to make the noise disappear. Swapping my wheels around had no effect. The service manager thinks the cladding is somehow causing the noise, maybe vibration/expansion/whatever. I am somewhat suspect and think it may be a tire issue. I have stumped everyone from myself to the service manager to the regional Chrysler Rep.

Now I'm shopping for new wheels I am so annoyed by this noise. Any more thoughts?
