Very nice looking AR you got there. What's the attachment on the rail?

As ashamed as I am to say, it's not a can. They are illegal here in the communist state of Illinois but I have always loved the look of them. It's actually just a muzzle break made to look like one.

I should have just broke it down in the first post.

Point of the build was a coyote gun/Barbie gun if you will. I have a stfh gun and I wanted something different that didn't look like everyone elses gander mtn/bass pro gam but will also be a solid performer.

Barrel- Wilson combat 18" match with 1/8 twist chambered in 5.56
Upper- American Spirit Arms billet side charger with chrome BCG
Lower- Wilson combat
Hand guard- Sampson manufacturing evolution12.5 free float
All furniture-Magpul (big horn, the rail attachment is a magpul afg2)
Trigger- Geissele 3.5lb 2 stage
Lower part kit- Rock River Arms (excluding hand grip and trigger)
Optics- Primary Arms 1x4-20 illuminated retical (took a chance here, heard phenomenal things about this scope and for 100 bones I had to give it a shot. So far extremely impressive)
Muzzle break- Kineti-tech

Shoulda known. I'm in Commiefornia so we can't have them either. Hope to be a Nevadan soon. I'm building an overwatch. I'd like to have a can on that.

Sticking to 5.56. Going to double as a varmint exterminator.

ARs aren't built, they're assembled. Now an AK on the other hand...

In all seriousness though, that's a nice looking rifle. Looks like you got good components for it too.

I had to get that first part in there, I'm an AK guy. I have 6, and the closest thing I have to an AR is a Sig556 which is an AK derivative. ARs just aren't for me.

Can you own AKs in IL?

that gave me a good laugh. And I will agree 100%, but built just rolls off the finger tips better.

Yes we can own AKs, I have a few friends with them. Kinda like you with ARs they just arent my cup of tea. Dont get me wrong its a great design for function and durability but I just think they look goofy imo.

I suppose its a blonde brunette type thing huh?

And thank you for the kind words about man!
