Just got off the horn with a local installer that's listed as a "Preferred Dealer" on the Xpresskit's website.

The DBALL2 for the 2013 isn't available from their distributor yet. They anticipate by year's end to have it available.

I got soft-quoted $265 installed when it becomes available.

Hello KDRAMMAN, I know this posting is old but very informative. I read all the posting and just wanted to know if I need the CHTHD1 T harness for my 07 2500 ram. I see you said for a 09-12.

Please let me know and thank you for the posting.

Just found this posting and would like more info.
I just bought a 2008 Dodge ram 3500 diesel automatic and want to put in a remote start.
Will the parts listed through this thread work for the 08 diesel? where is the best place to buy?

Great post. Great detail. Loved it so much I had to have one myself. But my luck isn't so good. I bought a DB-ALL off EBAY that was suppose to be flashed for my 2009 Ram 1500 Hemi. I also got the harness to make installation simpler. I installed it and the programming went exactly as posted. But when I hit the lock button 3 times, the LED on the DB-ALL flashes red 7 times and nothing happens. All I hooked up was the harness, didn't hook up the parking lights or hood switch/override switch yet. Looking for help or I will have to send it back.

Thanks

I had to send mine back because it didn't work. When they sent it back to me it worked perfectly.

Thank you soooo much for this write-up! Because of you, my butt was warm this morning when it was 19 degrees outside!

I ordered my full kit from ebay ($90), came with module (pre-programmed) and wiring harness. Took less than 10 minutes to install.

Love it!

No problem. Glad to help.

My Remote Start is still working great for anyone that is wondering. Only had 1 problem about 6 months ago where the truck started and then shut right back off. It hasn't messed up since.

The only regret I have is not signing up to become a distributor of these back when I wrote this How-to. Didn't know it would become such a big hit.

Hope everyone enjoys their Remotely Started Rams and has a Merry Christmas.
