I have this aftetmarket system installed on my truck for over a year now still working great and it was the best $75 dollars i could have spent I reccommend it and its very easy to install took about 20 minutes.

Thanks for this thread, got mine from Doug off eBay and it's working like a champ got the lights and safety switch installed as well but I said f' the hood switch. I couldn't find a good spot where the hood mates well. Too easy, wish I would have done this in 2011 when I got the truck.

ordered from Doug on fleabay can't wait to get it and install... been wanting remote start but not wanting to spend few hundred on it... glad I came across this DB-ALL module

I figured it out.
Just remove the kick panel for easier access to run the harness.
Then where the shifter goes into the column there's a rubber boot.
Remove that and you can see the harness.
I used a flat head to press the harness release bracket and with a gentle pull
Viola! Hook everything up.
Bam red light!
Follow the rest of the directions on the article and it started right up!

just got done installing dball2... worked first time no problem at all super easy install couldn't be happier

Do you know if this will work the same on a 2008 with key-on-column and a traditional type key -vs- the E-Key?
