Do a Google search for "Tow n See " mirrors. They are inexpensive, almost vibration free, do not scratch as they attach with suction cups to your existing mirrors. I've used these for the last 3 years ,and anyone I've shown them to have switched to them.

They were stable going down the highway and have a large mirror. They also had some that were only $17 each. The mirror looked the same, just a different mount.

The only problem I had with those mirrors is the rubber wearing out and breaking.

I picked up a pair of Reese towing mirrors they strap to the back of the mirror with rubber straps like some others, I have had them on for 2 weeks and no paint scratches, plus they sit fairly close to my truck mirrors so it's easier to see and they have 2 independently movable mirrors.

I fought the strap on kind with my previous truck for years. I now have a 2010 Ram Sport 1500 and switched out to the 2500 tow mirrors. I agree the sport mirrors were better looking overall but the functionality for me was well worth the compromise. I was able to sell my old sport mirrors for a pretty decent price so the net difference was only about $200.

.
Then I tried these http://www.amazon.com/Fit-System-389...4584293&sr=8-1
They don't look as nice but they go on easy and are much easier to adjust. They also have a much bigger mirror which results in a better viewing area.
Now that I have my Ram (also a sport) I still need to use an extended mirror but haven't put them on this truck yet. I've towed the camper twice with it and I really should put them on but hate to deal with any clip-on. And I don't like the looks of the stock tow mirrors. If I towed the camper enough I would go with them but I don't so I'll deal with the clip-on's.
Bottom line I'm not sure there is such a thing as a good clip-on mirror. But some might be better than others. Good luck finding one that will work for you.[/QUOTE]

Went with same ones on your recommendation and they work great with no vibration, got mine on amazon.
