Default Dsp

Just a question about The DSP, is it still worth buying one since they are no longer going to produce them. I can get one for 288 includeing the adaptors. I did call DSP and talk to there tech and ofcource he wanted me to buy the intune insted and said they will not be suporting the DSP soon.
