Default New guy from New Mexico

Hi there! First let me start off by saying that I'm excited to be here and look forward from all your input. Second, I've been a Mopar man my whole life. I currently own a 2005 Ram 1500. That's what brings me to your forum. I want to invest some money into my truck to improve the performance. I'm not to sure where to start and looking for some guidance. Currently I have an after market exhaust with Gibson headers and a K&N. Where to go from here beats me. I would appreciate your input.

Oh! Also I have some concerns. I own a 4.7 engine. When I first bought it I didnt think it would be an issue with power. After reading some forums I'm starting to have second thoughts. I want to be able to tow some trailers with no issue. Nothing huge but reasonable. I guess what I'm asking is should I invest money into my current truck or upgrade now? I'm on the fence. Thanks for all your help. Thanks!

Welcome fellow New Mexican!

I don't know a lot about the 4.7, but I think it will serve most uses fine. If you are pulling heavy trailers often, you might want to upgrade.
