What's the deal? They sound like a cheap way for more performance.I have a 2012 1500 Express package with the 5.7.How do they work and what do they do?How easy to install?

There is currently no programming for the '12s, and the bully dog has only proven as a good tuner on the 5.9l cummins, they kind of suck for gas engines.

Bully dog is much better for the diesels, and also there is no tuning for the '12 yet. Also, you're in ND too.

as i understand it, the tuners change the parameters of the ecm. so far, no company has been able to crack the "code" from chrysler on 11 and 12s.

Tuners ROCK diesels but have limited effect on gassers and will require premium for any good noticeable improvement. Even when they make one for 12's I wont bother. Just my .02
